Minesweeper
What a super picture! The lorry being lifted appears to be a Thornycroft "J" Type - our next project! Tony
Runflat
Ha! Funny to see this - I picked up exactly the same postcard (only in good condition) a few days ago. A super rare picture of an early recovery vehicle. The one suspended under the sheer legs is a Thornycroft J type. The picture really needs to go in this thread: http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?18713
Great War truck
That is a fabulous picture. I instantly recognised the background as Chipping Sodbury and felt rather smug until i saw it written underneath. Thanks.
